Sunderland's Listed Buildings
Text and photographs relating to the listed buildings of central Sunderland, from a slide collection of Sunderland Civic Society. Architectural details are given. Buildings vary from bridges to streets to lighthouses.
Sunderland: Yesterday's Town, Todays City
Monkwearmouth Local History Group have produced a book showing photographic images of Sunderland 'Then and Now'. This shows changes in industry and landscape, incorporating the religious, manufacturing and social history of the area. St Peter's Church where Bede began his career, shipbuilding - and in particular major companies such as Thompsons, and Liberty Ships are all examined.

The 500 Group
This project has produced a CD-Rom database of images of Public Service Transport in the Cleveland area.
The Black Women's Youth Forum
This project looked at the issue or arranged marriage. They used the internet to find out about marriage and arranged marriage in other cultures. They produced a video.
The Blaydon Races
Audio, video, text and photographs relating to the famous Blaydon Races. Blaydon Day Centre have researched this topic. Information about the route of the race and the famous characters such as Doctor Gibbs and Coffee Johnny. The route is shown now, and changes emphasised. Blaydon Day Centre choir can be heard on audio clips as well.
The Felling Pit Disaster
Photographs and text about a drama staged by Brandling Primary School concerning the Felling Pit Disaster in 1812. The play is called Monster in the Mine.
The Graves of Tyneside Bards
erth Green Alternative Education Service have researched the lives of many great songwriters in the North East and located the graves of three. Text about these three men - John Cunningham, Edward Elliot and George Ridley - and how to locate their graves.
