Erimus-Wa'alele
This project has contributed to our website. The group has restored the Hawaiian outrigger canoe that was donated to the people of Middlesbrough in 1978. The canoe had been outside the Captain Cook Birthplace Museum. Once restored the group then decided to set a challenge of crossing the Channel in the summer of 2001. This was sucessfull and raised funds for local charities.

Greenside Millennium Green Trust held an open scanning day for residents of the area to contribute their photographs to an archive about the area. Text and photographs about the event can be seen here.

This project have produced a book on the history of the Guisborough Gas Works. They have investigated the company, the personalities and arguments surrounding this company.

This project has produced a book on the development and history of Hemlington from rural hamlet to modern suburb.
Heritage Walks in the Sunderland Area
Wearside Field Club have produced a book of five walks in the Fulwell area, with special attention to points of historical and environmental interest.
