Project partners selected from their collections items for the website. During 2001, these selections were either scanned by partners or scanned on their behalf by the Robinson Library, University of Newcastle. A database was developed by ESRI (UK) Ltd. This was used by partners to complete new indexing of the collections to enable searching by subject, date, place and personal names.
