Ormesby Community History Group began to meet at the Pavilion 1998 under
the auspices of the W.E.A's eleven week Local History Course. We
are still going strong and now meet in North Ormesby Library on Monday
afternoons. Thanks to our grant our third book encloses pieces
about the First and Second World Wars. Our booklets are memory
based publications, our aim being that future generations can begin to
