"Ganning down the Moor"

The first meeting of the partnership took place on 6th July 2000 at South Moor library. Initially South Moor had a combined partnership with South Stanley (the Stan Moor Partnership) and a community appraisal was carried out. This became the focus to begin work on improving the area. The Partnership has a management team but there is an open meeting the last Wednesday of every month in South Moor community centre at 7p.m.

The Tomorrow's History Project included the members of the Partnership and South Moor Local History Group.
