Cassop-Cum-Quarrington with Bowburn Local History Society

A Photographic History of the Cassop-cum-Quarrington Area throughout the 19th and 20th Centuries.

Cassop-Cum-Quarrington with Bowburn Local History Society are a fledgling group of like-minded people, whose aims are to promote an awareness of the local history of Cassop-Cum-Quarrington and it's surrounding area, including the villages of :
  • Bowburn
  • Cassop
  • Old Cassop
  • Heugh Hall
  • Park Hill
  • Quarrington Hill
  • Tursdale

The aim of the group is to advance an understanding of local history by research, publications, exhibitions and other related activities.

The group meet every third Thursday of the month at 7.00pm at Bowburn Community Centre, Bowburn, Durham
